We caught up with sexy A.F. Irish blogger Ashley Kehoe to find out what’s behind this seriously badass babe….

How did you get into blogging Ash?

I started by posting my OOTD’s on Insta. I loved show casing my style and found that other girls really enjoyed my fashion posts.  Finally, after much advice and some might say courage, I decided to set up my blog last year – itsallaboutashleyk@blogspot.ie and it’s been doing great!!

Describe your personal style?

My style varies from season to season!  In the winter, 90% of my wardrobe is black so I guess you could say its quite minimalist. During the sunnier months I love to inject a little bit of colour and print into my wardrobe. I’m always drawn to the boho/festival chic fashion because textures like fringe, leather and lace always get me excited!! One thing I always like to do is dress to my shape though because clothes look better when you do that and in turn you’ll look better too.

How much of your time do you spend on blogging?

I don’t spend as much time as I would like to on blogging as right now its a part time thing for me. I still work a full time job and just recently finished a course too, so finding the time among everything else can be sometimes tricky. This year though, I hope to focus on it more as its something I’m very passionate about!

Where do you hope your blog will take you?

Really, who knows..?!! I’m hoping big places!! Blogging has become such a powerful thing in this generation and can take you to a lot of places in life. I hope for me that it could open opportunities involving travel.

What is your favourite piece in your wardrobe?

I’ve got a few favourite pieces!! My go to everyday piece would have to be my black, high waist jeans. I love them because you can pair them with almost anything and they’re super comfy too. I also have some vintage treasures that I’ve collected over the years, including a turquoise suede fringe jacket and a beautiful embellished canary yellow jumpsuit.

Who do you look up to in the celeb world?

I hate to say it but I am a sucker for the Kardashian family. I love watching their show and keeping my eyes peeled for their latest Instagram posts.

Where can we find you in your spare time?

You can always find me spending my spare time with family and friends. I’m such a family person so love a trip to my Nana’s for tea and chats. In the summer time though my favourite place to go is The National Botanic Gardens in Glassnevin.  I would definitely urge you to take a trip in any spare time you have this summer!!

 What’s the one thing you can’t live without?
Of course, apart from the obvious friends, family and my iPhone, I couldn’t live without my morning cup of tea, Carmex for my lips ( I’m addicted ) my minx lashes and definitely chocolate too ( think that goes for us all).

What’s your favourite meal?

This is a tough one because I love food so much and eat everything apart from fish and onions, I cant stand either. I think my favourite meal would have to be my Christmas dinner! As well as it being delicious, its my most enjoyable meal to eat because of the day that’s in it.

What’s in your handbag right now?

I try to keep my handbag as tidy as possible with just things I need. I always carry a small make-up bag with my everyday bits, an umbrella for obvious reasons, my wallet, earphones, carmex, keys, phone charger, hand cream, deodorant, a pen, a book, painkillers and a nail file. It weighs more than it should but I couldn’t take anything out!!

What tunes are on your playlist right now?
Right now I’m obsessed with Amy Winehouse and Lauryn Hill. I always have both their albums on repeat!!
